For 10 years, The Ophthalmologist has been honoring the excellence of the most influential people in the field with its annual Power List.

This year, we’re extending the scope of the Power List to ophthalmologists and scientists at an earlier stage in their career.

Each candidate was nominated by one or more Power List alumni, and the names have been honed by our editorial team to create a final list of 10 Rising Stars. We introduce them here and look at how they are following their own paths and forging new connections to advance the world of ophthalmology.
